Divided, distracted, and drifting...
The Church in Corinth was in rough shape. Doctrinal problems, division, and lack of discipline had set in since the departure of the previous beloved preaching elder, Apollos. The church was starting to look more like the world than a church - sometimes even worse! Knowing they needed help, the church (or one of its factions) sent messengers to Paul with a list of concerns. Before dealing with their questions, however, Paul and Sosthenes compassionately confront this struggling church with their biggest problem: they have forgotten who they are!

In the second installment of this series, Austin focuses on Paul's quotation of Jeremiah 9, that the one who boasts should boast in the Lord. Is that really possible for a Christian today? Austin challenges the church to consider God's calling as our real identity. This shapes our heart for the gospel and other people.
